About Dads Against the Norm
Dads Against the Norm exists to protect children by confronting fatherlessness, strengthening fathers, restoring families whenever possible, and raising the next generation of men to lead with courage and responsibility.
We believe culture changes when fathers change—and children should not have to bear the cost of male passivity.
Why We Exist
Behind every statistic is a child growing up without the presence, protection, guidance, or example of an engaged father.
Fatherlessness reaches beyond the home. Its effects appear in schools, relationships, communities, cycles of instability, and the expectations children carry into adulthood.
Dads Against the Norm exists because awareness alone is not enough. Children need fathers who show up, families that can be restored when it is safe, and future fathers who are prepared before the cycle repeats.
Every statistic has a child's face behind it.

The Founder
I started Dads Against the Norm because I became convinced that children were paying the price for a problem too many people had learned to accept.
I saw how passivity, absence, inconsistency, and disengagement shaped families long before a crisis became visible. I also saw that many fathers wanted to lead well but had never been shown how.
DATN was built to confront that gap—to challenge men without abandoning them, to pursue restoration without ignoring safety, and to raise future fathers before another generation inherits the same wounds.
This movement is not about perfect men. It is about fathers who are willing to become present, accountable, courageous, and worth following.
What We Believe
Every child deserves the presence, protection, guidance, and example of an engaged father.
Cycles can be interrupted when men accept responsibility and communities are willing to act.
Many men are not unwilling to lead—they were never equipped, challenged, or supported.
When it is safe and appropriate, rebuilding relationships can change the direction of a family.
Boys and young men need truth, mentorship, discipline, and examples worth following.
When fathers become healthier leaders, the effects reach far beyond the walls of the home.
How We Protect Children
Dads Against the Norm strengthens fathers already in the home, pursues restoration when it is safe and appropriate, and prepares future fathers before the cycle repeats.
Our Commitment
We will not settle for a culture that teaches children to accept the absence, passivity, or disengagement of fathers as normal.
